Service Description

Advanced Baking Class: Celebrate Mother’s Day with a beautiful and delicious hands-on baking experience! In this special class, students will create elegant Strawberry Cream Puffs from start to finish—perfect as a heartfelt homemade treat for mom. Students will learn how to prepare classic Choux Pastry, a light and airy dough that bakes into delicate, golden shells using steam. They will practice essential techniques such as mixing Choux to the proper consistency, piping uniform shapes, and understanding how to achieve the perfect rise and texture. While the Cream Puffs bake, students will prepare a fresh Strawberry Pastry Cream for a rich, bakery-style finish. Once cooled, they will fill and assemble their Cream Puffs, then add finishing touches for an elegant presentation. Skills students will learn: *Making and working with choux pastry *Piping techniques for consistency and presentation *Preparing a strawberry-based filling *Filling and assembling cream puffs Each student will leave with a box of handcrafted strawberry cream puffs—beautiful, delicious, and recipe to recreate for Mother’s Day. 🍓🌸 Class Guidelines: *Please ensure long hair is all tied back PRIOR to arriving in class. *Participants will be standing for most of the class, please wear Closed-Toed shoes. *This is a drop-off program designed to foster independence in the kitchen. *Missed classes are non-refundable—please review our Cancellation Policy. In each class, students work together in teams of two, fostering teamwork and camaraderie. As part of the experience, they'll make and enjoy some of the food they created during class. They'll also have the chance to take a portion of their creation home to share including the recipes, as the focus is on learning and practicing Culinary techniques.


Cancellation Policy

Due to our need to purchase food and supplies in advance, we are unable to provide refunds once a class is booked. You may receive a credit toward another class if notified a week prior to the date of your registered class. You are welcome to send someone in your place to attend the class that you've purchased. The Art of Food reserves the right to cancel a class. Registrants will be notified by email or phone as far in advance as possible and will issue a credit for upcoming classes. Please review class information carefully. We cannot be responsible for allergies, food or other sensitivities that may be unique to an individuals medical condition. Please note our kitchen is not a gluten-free environment and may contain nut products and other potential allergens. Sick Student Policy: Students should stay home if they or any family members are experiencing symptoms of illness, only returning to class once they’ve been well and symptom-free for at least 24 hours. This precaution supports a healthy environment for all students and staff.
