Service Description
A must-try class for Chocolate lovers and Creative Bakers Celebrating St. Patrick’s Day! 🍀 In this festive baking class, students will create Pot of Gold Rainbow Cupcakes with a delicious twist — a rich chocolate “Guinness-style” cupcake base, made kid-friendly using Root Beer to mimic the deep, Malty flavor traditionally found in the classic dessert. Students will learn how to: *Mix and bake moist, flavorful chocolate cupcakes enhanced with root beer for extra depth *Understand how ingredients can boost chocolate flavor *Make smooth, creamy vanilla buttercream frosting *Practice piping techniques to create fluffy “cloud” tops Decorate themed cupcakes using Sour Belts to form Rainbows and Rolos as the Chocolate “Pots of Gold” This class blends baking science with creativity, helping students build confidence in measuring, mixing, flavor building, frosting, and decorative design. They’ll see how presentation can transform a cupcake into a festive, bakery-style showpiece. The final result is a rich Chocolate Cupcake topped with bright Rainbows, candy Gold, and Clouds of frosting — a perfect balance of fun, flavor, and hands-on decorating. Please ensure long hair is all tied back PRIOR to arriving in class. Participants will be standing for most of the class, please wear Closed-Toed shoes. This is a drop-off program designed to foster independence in the kitchen. Missed classes are non-refundable—please review our Cancellation Policy. In each class, students work together in teams of two, fostering teamwork and camaraderie. As part of the experience, they'll make and enjoy some of the food they created during class. They'll also have the chance to take a portion of their creation home to share including the recipes, as the focus is on learning and practicing Culinary techniques.
Cancellation Policy
Due to our need to purchase food and supplies in advance, we are unable to provide refunds once a class is booked. You may receive a credit toward another class if notified a week prior to the date of your registered class. You are welcome to send someone in your place to attend the class that you've purchased. The Art of Food reserves the right to cancel a class. Registrants will be notified by email or phone as far in advance as possible and will issue a credit for upcoming classes. Please review class information carefully. We cannot be responsible for allergies, food or other sensitivities that may be unique to an individuals medical condition. Please note our kitchen is not a gluten-free environment and may contain nut products and other potential allergens. Sick Student Policy: Students should stay home if they or any family members are experiencing symptoms of illness, only returning to class once they’ve been well and symptom-free for at least 24 hours. This precaution supports a healthy environment for all students and staff.
