Students will bake flaky, tender Orange Marmalade Scones bursting with bright citrus flavor, then prepare a delicious Citrus Glaze and Honey Butter to serve alongside them. This hands-on class is a wonderful opportunity for students to practice proper scone-making techniques, learn how to work with citrus zest, shape and bake beautiful scones, and create complementary flavors from scratch. Weāll finish with a little time for presentation because even Paddington knows that food tastes even better when it looks beautiful! Students will learn: measuring and mixing techniques, cutting butter into dough, dough handling and shaping, citrus zesting, glazing, and presentation. A cozy, delicious class thatās sure to be practically perfect for a fall afternoon!
