Service Description

Step into the colorful World of Encanto where Food, Family, and Creativity come together. In this hands-on Culinary Camp, students explore Latin-Inspired Flavors while building real kitchen skills through cooking, baking, and edible art. Each day highlights a different “gift” from the Madrigal family, turning every recipe into a fun, themed experience. 🌼 DAY 1: JULIETA’S HEALING KITCHEN *Arepas con queso *Colombian pico de gallo (fresh tomato, lime, and herb salsa) Skills include dough handling, pan cooking, knife skills, and balancing fresh flavors. 🌺 DAY 2: ISABELA’S BLOOMING PASTRY STUDIO *Vanilla cupcakes with buttercream frosting *Piped floral buttercream designs *Molded chocolate flowers for decoration Skills include cupcake baking, buttercream preparation, piping techniques, and chocolate molding. 🥟 DAY 3: LUISA’S FEAST DAY *Vegetarian Argentine empanadas *Chimichurri dipping sauce Skills include filling and sealing dough, baking or frying techniques, & herb sauce preparation. ⭐ CAMP HIGHLIGHTS Hands-on cooking and baking every day Sweet and savory Latin-inspired recipes Creative decorating and edible art Cultural food exploration in a fun, engaging format Take-home foods from each class Students will prepare both savory dishes and sweet treats from scratch while learning techniques in dough making, baking, decorating, and flavor building. Class Guidelines: *Please ensure long hair is all tied back PRIOR to arriving in class. *Participants will be standing for most of the class, please wear Closed-Toed shoes. *This is a drop-off program designed to foster independence in the kitchen. *Missed classes are non-refundable—please review our Cancellation Policy. In each class, students work together in teams of two, fostering teamwork and camaraderie. As part of the experience, they'll make and enjoy some of the food they created during class. They'll also have the chance to take a portion of their creation home to share including the recipes, as the focus is on learning and practicing Culinary techniques.


Cancellation Policy

Due to our need to purchase food and supplies in advance, we are unable to provide refunds once a class is booked. You may receive a credit toward another class if notified a week prior to the date of your registered class. You are welcome to send someone in your place to attend the class that you've purchased. The Art of Food reserves the right to cancel a class. Registrants will be notified by email or phone as far in advance as possible and will issue a credit for upcoming classes. Please review class information carefully. We cannot be responsible for allergies, food or other sensitivities that may be unique to an individuals medical condition. Please note our kitchen is not a gluten-free environment and may contain nut products and other potential allergens. Sick Student Policy: Students should stay home if they or any family members are experiencing symptoms of illness, only returning to class once they’ve been well and symptom-free for at least 24 hours. This precaution supports a healthy environment for all students and staff.
