Creamy Tuscan Chicken Pasta
Ages 13-17 Tuesday, May 26th 2:00pm - 4:00pm
Service Description
Join us for a hands-on cooking class where students will create a rich and comforting one-pot Creamy Tuscan Chicken Pasta from start to finish, along with freshly made Garlic Knots. This class is perfect for building confidence in the kitchen while learning how to layer flavors and prepare a complete meal. Students will learn essential techniques including properly browning chicken, building a flavorful sauce, balancing seasonings, and cooking pasta directly in the sauce for a creamy, cohesive dish. We’ll incorporate garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, spinach, and herbs to create a vibrant, restaurant-style meal that’s both approachable and satisfying. In addition, students will make garlic knots from prepared dough, learning how to portion, shape, and tie knots, then finish them with garlic butter and herbs before baking. This complements the main dish while reinforcing dough handling and basic baking techniques. Along the way, students will practice timing, multitasking, and kitchen organization while gaining a better understanding of how ingredients work together to create depth of flavor. At the end of class, students will enjoy their freshly prepared meal and leave with the skills and confidence to recreate both the pasta and garlic knots at home. A perfect class for anyone looking to expand their cooking repertoire with a delicious, practical one-pot dinner and a classic bakery-style side. Class Guidelines: *Please ensure long hair is all tied back PRIOR to arriving in class. *Participants will be standing for most of the class, please wear Closed-Toed shoes. *This is a drop-off program designed to foster independence in the kitchen. *Missed classes are non-refundable—please review our Cancellation Policy. In each class, students work together in teams of two, fostering teamwork and camaraderie. As part of the experience, they'll make and enjoy some of the food they created during class. They'll also have the chance to take a portion of their creation home to share including the recipes, as the focus is on learning and practicing Culinary techniques.
