Service Description
Advanced Baking Class: Transport your baking skills to a European pastry shop in this elegant hands-on class where students will create stunning Black Forest Cupcakes completely from scratch. Inspired by the classic German dessert, these cupcakes feature rich Chocolate Cake, a luscious Cherry Filling, and a light yet decadent Whipped Cream topping finished with delicate Chocolate Shavings & Cherry on Top! Students will begin by preparing homemade chocolate cupcakes, learning key techniques for properly mixing batter to create cupcakes with a tender crumb and deep chocolate flavor. Once baked, they’ll core each cupcake and fill the center with a homemade cherry filling, balancing sweetness and tartness while learning how fruit fillings are thickened and prepared for pastries. Next, students will make stabilized whipped cream from scratch, learning professional techniques for creating whipped cream that holds its shape beautifully for piping and decorating. They’ll practice piping elegant swirls before finishing each cupcake with chocolate shavings and classic Black Forest-inspired garnishes. This advanced baking class focuses on layering flavors, texture balance, filling techniques, and bakery-style decorating. By the end of class, students will take home a beautiful batch of Black Forest Cupcakes that are rich, elegant, and worthy of any pastry display.
