Service Description

Celebrate the Flavors of Fall by learning how to make soft, old-fashioned Baked Apple Cider Donuts completely from scratch! In this cozy baking class, students will reduce fresh Apple Cider to concentrate its rich flavor before mixing it into a perfectly spiced cinnamon-nutmeg batter. They'll learn the science behind creating light, tender cake donuts while practicing measuring techniques, proper mixing methods, and baking for the perfect texture. While the donuts are still warm from the oven, students will brush them with melted butter and generously coat them in a classic cinnamon-sugar topping for that bakery-fresh finish. Every bite is packed with warm apple flavor and cozy autumn spices—perfect for welcoming the fall season! Students will learn: ow to reduce apple cider for concentrated flavor Proper measuring and mixing techniques for tender baked donuts The difference between baked and fried donuts How to use a donut pan Baking techniques for soft, moist cake donuts Finishing donuts with a buttery cinnamon-sugar coating Every student will take home a batch of homemade baked apple cider donuts that taste just like a visit to the apple orchard! Class Guidelines: *Please ensure long hair is all tied back PRIOR to arriving in class. *Participants will be standing for most of the class, please wear Closed-Toed shoes. *This is a drop-off program designed to foster independence in the kitchen. *Missed classes are non-refundable—please review our Cancellation Policy. In each class, students work together in teams of two, fostering teamwork and camaraderie. As part of the experience, they'll make and enjoy some of the food they created during class. They'll also have the chance to take a portion of their creation home to share including the recipes, as the focus is on learning and practicing Culinary techniques.


Cancellation Policy

Due to our need to purchase food and supplies in advance, we are unable to provide refunds once a class is booked. You may receive a credit toward another class if notified a week prior to the date of your registered class. You are welcome to send someone in your place to attend the class that you've purchased. The Art of Food reserves the right to cancel a class. Registrants will be notified by email or phone as far in advance as possible and will issue a credit for upcoming classes. Please review class information carefully. We cannot be responsible for allergies, food or other sensitivities that may be unique to an individuals medical condition. Please note our kitchen is not a gluten-free environment and may contain nut products and other potential allergens. Sick Student Policy: Students should stay home if they or any family members are experiencing symptoms of illness, only returning to class once they’ve been well and symptom-free for at least 24 hours. This precaution supports a healthy environment for all students and staff.
