Service Description
Take a flavorful trip to Korea in this hands-on street food inspired class! Students will learn how to prepare savory Beef Bulgogi Rice Bowls, featuring beef cooked to perfection and served over fluffy steamed rice. Along the way, young chefs will explore how simple ingredients like soy, garlic, and sesame come together to create bold, balanced flavor. To finish on a sweet note, students will also make Korean Honey Butter Toast, a popular café-style dessert featuring warm buttery toast drizzled with honey and finished with a touch of sweetness. It’s the perfect balance to the savory bulgogi bowls and introduces students to a trendy Korean café favorite. Skills Learned: • Preparing and cooking marinated beef bulgogi • Understanding marinade balance (sweet, salty, savory) • Cooking fluffy steamed rice • Knife skills and fresh topping prep • Building balanced rice bowls with texture and flavor • Making Korean honey butter toast • Kitchen safety, timing, and organization A delicious street food experience filled with bold flavors, sweet café treats, and hands-on fun from start to finish! 🍚🥩🍯🍞 Class Guidelines: *Please ensure long hair is all tied back PRIOR to arriving in class. *Participants will be standing for most of the class, please wear Closed-Toed shoes. *This is a drop-off program designed to foster independence in the kitchen. *Missed classes are non-refundable—please review our Cancellation Policy. In each class, students work together in teams of two, fostering teamwork and camaraderie. As part of the experience, they'll make and enjoy some of the food they created during class. They'll also have the chance to take a portion of their creation home to share including the recipes, as the focus is on learning and practicing Culinary techniques.
Cancellation Policy
Due to our need to purchase food and supplies in advance, we are unable to provide refunds once a class is booked. You may receive a credit toward another class if notified a week prior to the date of your registered class. You are welcome to send someone in your place to attend the class that you've purchased. The Art of Food reserves the right to cancel a class. Registrants will be notified by email or phone as far in advance as possible and will issue a credit for upcoming classes. Please review class information carefully. We cannot be responsible for allergies, food or other sensitivities that may be unique to an individuals medical condition. Please note our kitchen is not a gluten-free environment and may contain nut products and other potential allergens. Sick Student Policy: Students should stay home if they or any family members are experiencing symptoms of illness, only returning to class once they’ve been well and symptom-free for at least 24 hours. This precaution supports a healthy environment for all students and staff.
