Bring the warmth of a cozy farmhouse kitchen to life as students learn to create a delicious Amish Apple Fritter Bread from scratch! This bakery-style quick bread is filled with tender cinnamon-spiced apples, swirled with a sweet cinnamon sugar layer, and finished with a beautiful vanilla glaze. In this hands-on baking class, students will learn the techniques behind creating a moist, flavorful quick bread while discovering how simple ingredients can be transformed into a beautiful homemade treat. Students will prepare fresh apples, create the perfect cinnamon swirl, and master the art of adding a finishing glaze for a bakery-worthy presentation. ✨ Skills Students Will Learn: • Proper measuring techniques for baking success • Preparing apples for baking • Creating a moist quick bread batter • Layering cinnamon sugar swirls for flavor and texture • Understanding baking techniques for even results • Making and applying a smooth vanilla glaze • Presentation skills for a beautiful finished bake A perfect Fall-inspired baking class filled with sweet apples, warm spices, and the joy of creating something delicious from scratch! 🍏 Class Guidelines: *Please ensure long hair is all tied back PRIOR to arriving in class. *Participants will be standing for most of the class, please wear Closed-Toed shoes. *This is a drop-off program designed to foster independence in the kitchen. *Missed classes are non-refundable—please review our Cancellation Policy. In each class, students work together in teams of two, fostering teamwork and camaraderie. As part of the experience, they'll make and enjoy some of the food they created during class. They'll also have the chance to take a portion of their creation home to share including the recipes, as the focus is on learning and practicing Culinary techniques.
Cancellation Policy
Due to our need to purchase food and supplies in advance, we are unable to provide refunds once a class is booked. You may receive a credit toward another class if notified a week prior to the date of your registered class. You are welcome to send someone in your place to attend the class that you've purchased. The Art of Food reserves the right to cancel a class. Registrants will be notified by email or phone as far in advance as possible and will issue a credit for upcoming classes. Please review class information carefully. We cannot be responsible for allergies, food or other sensitivities that may be unique to an individuals medical condition. Please note our kitchen is not a gluten-free environment and may contain nut products and other potential allergens. Sick Student Policy: Students should stay home if they or any family members are experiencing symptoms of illness, only returning to class once they’ve been well and symptom-free for at least 24 hours. This precaution supports a healthy environment for all students and staff.
