Service Description
Step into the Enchanted Forest in this 3-day hands-on Cake Decorating Adventure! Students will learn professional cake skills while bringing a Whimsical Woodland Theme to Life. Day 1 – Bake & Build the Base *Learn how to bake a Chocolate Cake completely from scratch *Trim and level layers for an even finish *Begin designing your one-of-a-kind Woodland cake Day 2 – Magical Woodland Elements *Master the Crumb Coat technique for a smooth foundation *Create Chocolate animals, mushrooms, fairy doors and more.... *Learn to make realistic edible Moss and forest textures *Experiment with chocolate detailing techniques *Practice piping and decorative finishes for your cake Day 3 – The Big Reveal & Photo Shoot *Fully decorate your Woodland Masterpiece *Add all the handmade elements and finishing touches *Set up your cake for a Photo Shoot *Take home your Edible Art By the end of camp, each student will have gained Baking and Decorating Skills, learned edible sculpting, and created a show-stopping Woodland-Themed Cake to be proud of. Please ensure long hair is all tied back PRIOR to arriving in class. Participants will be standing for most of the class, please wear Closed-Toed shoes. This is a drop-off program designed to foster independence in the kitchen. Missed classes are non-refundable—please review our Cancellation Policy. In each class, students work together in teams of two, fostering teamwork and camaraderie. As part of the experience, they'll make and enjoy some of the food they created during class. They'll also have the chance to take a portion of their creation home to share including the recipes, as the focus is on learning and practicing Culinary techniques.
Cancellation Policy
Due to our need to purchase food and supplies in advance, we are unable to provide refunds once a class is booked. You may receive a credit toward another class if notified a week prior to the date of your registered class. You are welcome to send someone in your place to attend the class that you've purchased. The Art of Food reserves the right to cancel a class. Registrants will be notified by email or phone as far in advance as possible and will issue a credit for upcoming classes. Please review class information carefully. We cannot be responsible for allergies, food or other sensitivities that may be unique to an individuals medical condition. Please note our kitchen is not a gluten-free environment and may contain nut products and other potential allergens. Sick Student Policy: Students should stay home if they or any family members are experiencing symptoms of illness, only returning to class once they’ve been well and symptom-free for at least 24 hours. This precaution supports a healthy environment for all students and staff.
