Service Description
Join us in a delightful exploration of homemade confections designed to convey the warmth and care of a homemade gift. In this workshop, we’ll immerse ourselves in the Art of Creating Delectable Caramels, rich Fudge, and fluffy Vanilla Marshmallows – perfect for gifting or savoring during the holiday season. CARAMELS: Uncover the secrets to creating smooth and buttery caramels. Learn about caramelization, temperature control, and flavor variations. Discover how to wrap and present them as charming gifts. FUDGE: Dive into the world of fudge-making. Explore different types and flavors, understand the science behind achieving the perfect texture, and explore creative ways to adorn and package these velvety treats. VANILLA MARSHMALLOWS: Delve into the process of making these fluffy delights from scratch. Learn about flavor infusion, setting agents, and the art of cutting and presenting these marshmallows as elegant gifts. Step-by-step guidance. Recipes and techniques for crafting each confection. Tips on packaging and presenting homemade gifts. Tasting and sampling of the freshly made treats during the class and taking home to share! Students will be standing for most of the class. Please wear closed-toe shoes and have long hair pulled back. This is a drop-off program to allow the children independence in the kitchen. After the class, every participant will leave with the recipes they learned, prepared to recreate them at home and delight their loved ones with their newfound baking skills.
Cancellation Policy
Due to our need to purchase food and supplies in advance, we are unable to provide refunds once a class is booked. You may receive a credit toward another class if notified a week prior to the date of your registered class. You are welcome to send someone in your place to attend the class that you've purchased. The Art of Food reserves the right to cancel a class. Registrants will be notified by email or phone as far in advance as possible and will issue a credit for upcoming classes. Please review class information carefully. We cannot be responsible for allergies, food or other sensitivities that may be unique to an individuals medical condition. Please note our kitchen is not a gluten-free environment and may contain nut products and other potential allergens. Sick Student Policy: Students should stay home if they or any family members are experiencing symptoms of illness, only returning to class once they’ve been well and symptom-free for at least 24 hours. This precaution supports a healthy environment for all students and staff.
