In this class, students will learn the following Tips and Techniques: Perfecting a Graham Cracker Crust: How to create a sturdy, flavorful crust that complements the mascarpone filling. Pressing techniques for even thickness and structure. Working with Mascarpone Filling: How to achieve a creamy, smooth mascarpone mixture. Balancing sweetness and tang for a flavorful filling. Properly spreading the mascarpone for an even layer. Arranging Strawberry Slices: Techniques for slicing strawberries thinly and uniformly for a polished look. How to shape the slices into a stunning rose design. Finishing Touches: Tips for optional glazing to enhance the shine and freshness of the strawberries. Presentation techniques to make the tart visually appealing. Students will leave with an elegant dessert that is both delicious and visually stunning, along with the skills to recreate it at home! Participants will be standing for most of the class, so please wear closed-toe shoes and ensure long hair is tied back. This is a drop-off program designed to foster independence in the kitchen. Missed classes are non-refundable—please review our Cancellation Policy. At The Art of Food, our goal is to teach valuable Cooking and Baking techniques, not just how to follow a recipe. These skills will empower students to explore their creativity in their home kitchen for their families and make any recipe their own.   In each class, students work together in teams of two, fostering teamwork and camaraderie. As part of the experience, they'll make and enjoy some of the food they created during class. They'll also have the chance to take a portion of their creation home to share including the recipes, as the focus is on learning and practicing Culinary techniques.
