🥛Dairy-Free Class Celebrate the fresh flavors of the season in this hands-on Spring Vegetable Stir Fry class! Students will learn how to create a colorful, crisp-tender stir fry using seasonal vegetables all tossed in a light ginger-garlic sauce. Special emphasis will be placed on Knife Skills, teaching students how to safely hold and use a knife while practicing proper slicing, dicing, and julienne techniques. Students will learn why consistent cuts matter for even cooking and attractive presentation. Skills Covered: *Proper knife grip and safety techniques *Julienne, slicing, and uniform vegetable cuts *High-heat stir fry cooking method *Building a simple, flavorful stir fry sauce *Timing and multitasking multiple components A fresh, healthy, and hands-on class that builds confidence in the kitchen while celebrating bright spring ingredients. 🌸🥕🥢 Class Guidelines: *Please ensure long hair is all tied back PRIOR to arriving in class. *Participants will be standing for most of the class, please wear Closed-Toed shoes. *This is a drop-off program designed to foster independence in the kitchen. *Missed classes are non-refundable—please review our Cancellation Policy. In each class, students work together in teams of two, fostering teamwork and camaraderie. As part of the experience, they'll make and enjoy some of the food they created during class. They'll also have the chance to take a portion of their creation home to share including the recipes, as the focus is on learning and practicing Culinary techniques.
Cancellation Policy
Due to our need to purchase food and supplies in advance, we are unable to provide refunds once a class is booked. You may receive a credit toward another class if notified a week prior to the date of your registered class. You are welcome to send someone in your place to attend the class that you've purchased. The Art of Food reserves the right to cancel a class. Registrants will be notified by email or phone as far in advance as possible and will issue a credit for upcoming classes. Please review class information carefully. We cannot be responsible for allergies, food or other sensitivities that may be unique to an individuals medical condition. Please note our kitchen is not a gluten-free environment and may contain nut products and other potential allergens. Sick Student Policy: Students should stay home if they or any family members are experiencing symptoms of illness, only returning to class once they’ve been well and symptom-free for at least 24 hours. This precaution supports a healthy environment for all students and staff.
