Advanced Baking Class: ⚠️ Allergy Alert: Contains Almonds Join us for an advanced baking class where students will create stunning Raspberry Almond Frangipane Tarts from start to finish. This elegant dessert features a buttery Shortcrust Tart shell filled with rich Almond Frangipane and topped with fresh Raspberries for a beautifully balanced sweet-tart flavor. Students will learn how to prepare and work with Pâte Sucrée (sweet tart dough), including mixing, rolling, and properly fitting the dough into tart rings or pans. Next, students will prepare frangipane, a classic almond cream made with butter, sugar, eggs, and almond flour. They will learn how to mix the filling to the correct consistency and pipe or spread it evenly into the tart shell. Fresh Raspberries and slice Almonds are then arranged on top before baking, allowing them to gently nestle into the almond filling and release their natural juices. Once baked and cooled, students will finish the tarts with optional touches such as a light dusting of powdered for added shine and presentation. Skills students will learn: *Making and handling pâte sucrée (sweet tart dough) *Preparing almond frangipane filling *Proper layering and arrangement of fruit *Baking filled tarts to achieve even texture and doneness *Finishing and presenting a professional-quality dessert Each student will leave with beautifully baked Raspberry Almond Frangipane Tarts and the confidence to recreate this classic French-inspired dessert at home. 🍓✨ Class Guidelines: *Please ensure long hair is all tied back PRIOR to arriving in class. *Participants will be standing for most of the class, please wear Closed-Toed shoes. *This is a drop-off program designed to foster independence in the kitchen. *Missed classes are non-refundable—please review our Cancellation Policy.
