Embark on a delightful Culinary journey this Holiday Season with a hands-on class Exploring the Delectable Global Christmas cookies from Germany, Croatia, and Italy. Week 1: December 4th. Discover the Intricate Art of baking German Lebkuchen, a spicy and aromatic Gingerbread Cookie adorned with Icing. Week 2: December 11th French Madeleines: Transport yourself to France as you master the exquisite Madeleine - delicate, shell-shaped sponge cakes that are both elegant and delicious. Learn the secrets behind achieving their iconic soft texture and buttery flavor. Week 3: December 18th Danish Butter Cookies: Dive into the world of Danish baking with the iconic Butter Cookies. Understand the process of crafting these delicate, melt-in-your-mouth delights, a Danish treasure. Join us to uncover the unique flavors and history behind these cherished Christmas cookies, each with its own cultural tale. Immerse yourself in the techniques, ingredients, and personal touches that make these treats special, and create your own assortment to share the joy and flavors of the season with family and friends! Students will be standing for most of the class. Please wear closed-toe shoes and have long hair pulled back. This is a drop-off program to allow the children independence in the kitchen. After the class, every participant will leave with the recipes they learned, prepared to recreate them at home and delight their loved ones with their newfound baking skills.
