Pack your (imaginary) bags—we’re heading on a Delicious Journey through Italy, one handmade Pasta at a time! In this three-day Culinary Camp, students will explore the Art, History, and Techniques of traditional Pasta-Making while creating beautiful dishes inspired by Regional Flavors. Day 1: Sweet Beginnings + Farfalle Fun We’ll kick off our adventure with a unique Italian treat—Chocolate Salami—while learning about its cultural roots and why this no-bake dessert has been a beloved classic for generations. Students will then dive into pasta-making basics, creating Farfalle (bowtie pasta) from scratch. They’ll pair their handmade pasta with a bright and flavorful pecorino, black pepper, and lemon sauce, learning how simple ingredients can create a beautifully balanced dish. Day 2: Stuffed Pasta Traditions On day two, students will expand their skills by making Cappelletti, a delicate stuffed pasta traditionally served in broth. They’ll prepare a fresh Spinach and Ricotta filling, practice shaping techniques, and serve their pasta in a comforting Tomato Broth. Along the way, we’ll explore the History and Significance of Stuffed Pastas across Italy. Day 3: Creative Shapes + Bold Flavors For our final day, students will learn to hand-shape Spizzulus, a rustic pasta style full of texture and character. They’ll pair it with a rich and savory Roasted Garlic and Miso Sauce, introducing a fun, modern twist that highlights how pasta continues to evolve across cultures. Throughout the camp, students will build confidence in the kitchen while learning essential skills such as dough making, rolling, shaping, filling, and sauce building. Each day blends hands-on cooking with stories and traditions that bring the dishes to life! *** Highly Recommend the "Pasta Every Day" Cookbook by Meryl Feinstein Class Guidelines: *Please ensure long hair is all tied back PRIOR to arriving in class. *Participants will be standing for most of the class, please wear Closed-Toed shoes. *This is a drop-off program designed to foster independence in the kitchen. *Missed classes are non-refundable—please review our Cancellation Policy.
