Service Description

Get ready for a Spooktacularly Sweet Adventure with a Halloween twist! In this playful baking class, students will create adorable Cookie Monster Halloween Cupcakes that are almost too cute to eat. We’ll start by baking delicious cupcakes from scratch and preparing a creamy homemade buttercream frosting before transforming each cupcake into a silly, cookie-loving monster perfect for Halloween! Students will learn decorating techniques to create Cookie Monster’s famous fuzzy blue fur using piping skills, add fun monster details with candy eyes, and finish their creations with a spooky Halloween surprise. From goofy expressions to colorful Halloween decorations, each cupcake will have its own unique personality! This class is all about creativity, confidence, and having fun in the kitchen while learning real baking and decorating skills. Students will learn: How to bake cupcakes completely from scratch How to make homemade buttercream frosting Proper piping techniques to create textured monster fur Decorating skills using candy, sprinkles, and edible decorations Tips for creating fun character desserts Students will leave with a box full of their own Halloween Cookie Monster Cupcakes—a playful, delicious treat perfect for celebrating the spooky season! 👀🍪 Warning: These monsters may disappear quickly… they’re known for loving cookies! Class Guidelines: *Please ensure long hair is all tied back PRIOR to arriving in class. *Participants will be standing for most of the class, please wear Closed-Toed shoes. *This is a drop-off program designed to foster independence in the kitchen. *Missed classes are non-refundable—please review our Cancellation Policy. In each class, students work together in teams of two, fostering teamwork and camaraderie. As part of the experience, they'll make and enjoy some of the food they created during class. They'll also have the chance to take a portion of their creation home to share including the recipes, as the focus is on learning and practicing Culinary techniques.


Cancellation Policy

Due to our need to purchase food and supplies in advance, we are unable to provide refunds once a class is booked. You may receive a credit toward another class if notified a week prior to the date of your registered class. You are welcome to send someone in your place to attend the class that you've purchased. The Art of Food reserves the right to cancel a class. Registrants will be notified by email or phone as far in advance as possible and will issue a credit for upcoming classes. Please review class information carefully. We cannot be responsible for allergies, food or other sensitivities that may be unique to an individuals medical condition. Please note our kitchen is not a gluten-free environment and may contain nut products and other potential allergens. Sick Student Policy: Students should stay home if they or any family members are experiencing symptoms of illness, only returning to class once they’ve been well and symptom-free for at least 24 hours. This precaution supports a healthy environment for all students and staff.
