Nothing says comfort food like a warm bowl of Homemade Chicken Pot Pie Soup! In this cozy Fall cooking class, students will learn how to transform simple ingredients into a rich, creamy soup loaded with tender chicken, colorful vegetables, and savory herbs. They'll discover the secrets to building flavor from scratch by sautĆ©ing vegetables, creating a classic roux, and achieving the perfect creamy consistency. To accompany their soup, students will make Homemade Pie Crust Crackers using buttery pie dough rolled thin, cut into fun shapes, and baked until crisp and golden. Seasoned with herbs and a sprinkle of flaky sea salt, these flaky crackers are the perfect companion for dipping into every spoonful of soup. By the end of class, students will enjoy a comforting homemade meal while building valuable kitchen skills they can use again and again. Class Guidelines: *Please ensure long hair is all tied back PRIOR to arriving in class. *Participants will be standing for most of the class, please wear Closed-Toed shoes. *This is a drop-off program designed to foster independence in the kitchen. *Missed classes are non-refundableāplease review our Cancellation Policy. In each class, students work together in teams of two, fostering teamwork and camaraderie. As part of the experience, they'll make and enjoy some of the food they created during class. They'll also have the chance to take a portion of their creation home to share including the recipes, as the focus is on learning and practicing Culinary techniques.
Cancellation Policy
Due to our need to purchase food and supplies in advance, we are unable to provide refunds once a class is booked. You may receive a credit toward another class if notified a week prior to the date of your registered class. You are welcome to send someone in your place to attend the class that you've purchased. The Art of Food reserves the right to cancel a class. Registrants will be notified by email or phone as far in advance as possible and will issue a credit for upcoming classes. Please review class information carefully. We cannot be responsible for allergies, food or other sensitivities that may be unique to an individuals medical condition. Please note our kitchen is not a gluten-free environment and may contain nut products and other potential allergens. Sick Student Policy: Students should stay home if they or any family members are experiencing symptoms of illness, only returning to class once theyāve been well and symptom-free for at least 24 hours. This precaution supports a healthy environment for all students and staff.
