Cross-contact is possible, so please take this into consideration when registering. Get ready for a delicious baking adventure! In this class, students will learn how to make tender, bakery-style Caramelized White Chocolate Cherry Scones—a perfect blend of rich sweetness and bright fruit flavor. Students will start by learning how to caramelize white chocolate until it’s golden, smooth, and deeply flavorful. Then we’ll fold it into a buttery scone dough along with tart dried cherries to create a beautiful balance of textures and taste. Along the way, students will learn essential baking skills, including: • Cutting butter into flour for the perfect crumb • Mixing and shaping scone dough • Achieving golden, crisp edges with a soft center • Proper baking techniques for consistent, tender results Each student will bake a batch of warm, fragrant scones to enjoy and take home. This class is ideal for young bakers ready to expand their skills and try something sweet, special, and truly elevated. Join us for a cozy, creative baking experience—these scones are a showstopper! 🍒 Please ensure long hair is all tied back PRIOR to arriving in class. Participants will be standing for most of the class, please wear Closed-Toed shoes. This is a drop-off program designed to foster independence in the kitchen. Missed classes are non-refundable—please review our Cancellation Policy. In each class, students work together in teams of two, fostering teamwork and camaraderie. As part of the experience, they'll make and enjoy some of the food they created during class. They'll also have the chance to take a portion of their creation home to share including the recipes, as the focus is on learning and practicing Culinary techniques.
Cancellation Policy
Due to our need to purchase food and supplies in advance, we are unable to provide refunds once a class is booked. You may receive a credit toward another class if notified a week prior to the date of your registered class. You are welcome to send someone in your place to attend the class that you've purchased. The Art of Food reserves the right to cancel a class. Registrants will be notified by email or phone as far in advance as possible and will issue a credit for upcoming classes. Please review class information carefully. We cannot be responsible for allergies, food or other sensitivities that may be unique to an individuals medical condition. Please note our kitchen is not a gluten-free environment and may contain nut products and other potential allergens. Sick Student Policy: Students should stay home if they or any family members are experiencing symptoms of illness, only returning to class once they’ve been well and symptom-free for at least 24 hours. This precaution supports a healthy environment for all students and staff.
