Ready to transform plain cakes into stunning masterpieces? Join us for Cake Decorating 101: Mastering Buttercream Techniques! This class is designed for beginners and enthusiasts eager to explore the Art of Cake decoration using Buttercream Frosting. In this hands-on course, you'll delve into the world of Buttercream and learn a variety of essential techniques to elevate your cake decorating skills. From achieving the perfect consistency to mastering piping techniques, you'll discover how to create beautiful designs and intricate patterns that will impress any audience. You'll learn how to level and stack cakes like a pro, ensuring a flawless canvas for your creations. We'll dive into the art of smooth frosting application, teaching you how to achieve sharp edges and flawless finishes using Buttercream. Week One: May 9th Students will learn to frost a cake using the Petal / Scale technique. Week Two: May 16th Students will learn to frost a cake using the Ruffle technique. Week Three: May 23rd Students will learn to frost a cake using the Rosette technique. Class Tuition includes all necessary supplies and materials to keep, ensuring you have everything you need to practice and perfect your cake decorating skills. * Cake Turntable * Cake Leveler * 2 Offset Spatulas * 24 Piping Tips & Couplers * Disposable Bags * Scrapers Please wear closed-toe shoes and have long hair pulled back. This is a drop-off program to allow the children independence in the kitchen. No rebates for missed classes. After the class, every participant will leave with their supplies and the recipes they learned, prepared to recreate them at home and delight their loved ones with their newfound baking skills.
Cancellation Policy
Due to our need to purchase food and supplies in advance, we are unable to provide refunds once a class is booked. You may receive a credit toward another class if notified a week prior to the date of your registered class. You are welcome to send someone in your place to attend the class that you've purchased. The Art of Food reserves the right to cancel a class. Registrants will be notified by email or phone as far in advance as possible and will issue a credit for upcoming classes. Please review class information carefully. We cannot be responsible for allergies, food or other sensitivities that may be unique to an individuals medical condition. Please note our kitchen is not a gluten-free environment and may contain nut products and other potential allergens.
