🌾🥛🚫 Gluten-Free & Dairy-Free options are available. Please let us know if needed when registering. Skip the Drive-Thru and learn how to make a fun, Delicious Favorite from Scratch! In this hands-on cooking class, students will prepare Crispy Baked Chicken Nuggets and homemade oven Fries—a healthier twist on a Classic combo. Students will practice key kitchen skills while making this full meal, including: 🍗 Breading and baking for perfectly crispy nuggets without frying 🥔 Cutting and seasoning potatoes for golden, crispy fries 🧂 Flavor building with simple spices and pantry ingredients 🔥 Safe oven use and timing techniques for even baking This class is perfect for Young Chefs ready to build confidence and enjoy one of their favorite meals—made with fresh ingredients and lots of flavor! ⚠️Please Note: While this recipe can be gluten-free, my kitchen is not a certified gluten-free facility. Cross-contact is possible, so please take this into consideration when registering. Please ensure long hair is tied back PRIOR to arriving in class. Participants will be standing for most of the class, please wear closed-toe shoes. This is a drop-off program designed to foster independence in the kitchen. Missed classes are non-refundable—please review our Cancellation Policy. In each class, students work together in teams of two, fostering teamwork and camaraderie. As part of the experience, they'll make and enjoy some of the food they created during class. They'll also have the chance to take a portion of their creation home to share including the recipes, as the focus is on learning and practicing Culinary techniques.
Cancellation Policy
Due to our need to purchase food and supplies in advance, we are unable to provide refunds once a class is booked. You may receive a credit toward another class if notified a week prior to the date of your registered class. You are welcome to send someone in your place to attend the class that you've purchased. The Art of Food reserves the right to cancel a class. Registrants will be notified by email or phone as far in advance as possible and will issue a credit for upcoming classes. Please review class information carefully. We cannot be responsible for allergies, food or other sensitivities that may be unique to an individuals medical condition. Please note our kitchen is not a gluten-free environment and may contain nut products and other potential allergens. Sick Student Policy: Students should stay home if they or any family members are experiencing symptoms of illness, only returning to class once they’ve been well and symptom-free for at least 24 hours. This precaution supports a healthy environment for all students and staff.
