Service Description
Step into the flavors of India in this hands-on culinary class where students will create a comforting and flavorful Butter Chicken & Naan Bread completely from scratch! Students will prepare tender chicken simmered in a mild, spiced tomato-butter sauce, learning the basics of seasoning, sautéing, and developing depth of flavor through layering ingredients. To complete the meal, they will also make homemade Naan Bread, learning how to mix, roll, and cook soft flatbread on a skillet until warm, fluffy, and lightly golden. Skills Learned: • Understanding and blending warm Indian spices • Cooking a creamy butter chicken sauce from scratch • Proper chicken preparation and stovetop simmering techniques • Making simple homemade naan dough • Rolling and cooking flatbread on a skillet • Flavor balancing and sauce development • Kitchen safety, timing, and organization A delicious journey into Indian cuisine filled with bold aromas, soft naan bread, and rich, comforting flavors! 🍛🫓✨ Class Guidelines: *Please ensure long hair is all tied back PRIOR to arriving in class. *Participants will be standing for most of the class, please wear Closed-Toed shoes. *This is a drop-off program designed to foster independence in the kitchen. *Missed classes are non-refundable—please review our Cancellation Policy. In each class, students work together in teams of two, fostering teamwork and camaraderie. As part of the experience, they'll make and enjoy some of the food they created during class. They'll also have the chance to take a portion of their creation home to share including the recipes, as the focus is on learning and practicing Culinary techniques.
Cancellation Policy
Due to our need to purchase food and supplies in advance, we are unable to provide refunds once a class is booked. You may receive a credit toward another class if notified a week prior to the date of your registered class. You are welcome to send someone in your place to attend the class that you've purchased. The Art of Food reserves the right to cancel a class. Registrants will be notified by email or phone as far in advance as possible and will issue a credit for upcoming classes. Please review class information carefully. We cannot be responsible for allergies, food or other sensitivities that may be unique to an individuals medical condition. Please note our kitchen is not a gluten-free environment and may contain nut products and other potential allergens. Sick Student Policy: Students should stay home if they or any family members are experiencing symptoms of illness, only returning to class once they’ve been well and symptom-free for at least 24 hours. This precaution supports a healthy environment for all students and staff.
