Service Description

Step inside the Chocolate Factory — a magical, hands-on camp where young chefs become real-life candy makers! Students will craft dreamy Chocolate treats and baked goods while learning real kitchen skills in a fun, supportive environment. What's on the Menu: 🥜 Homemade Peanut Butter Cups: Campers whip up smooth or crunchy Peanut Butter fillings, then mold, pour to create their own signature cups. 🍫 The Candy Bar Creation Lab: It’s every kid’s dream — a DIY candy bar factory! From chewy nougat to crispy layers and caramel swirls, students will explore textures and flavors to build one-of-a-kind chocolate bars. 🧁 Black Forest Cupcake Workshop: A bakery-worthy masterpiece! Students will bake rich Chocolate Cupcakes from scratch, fill them with cherries, and top with Chocolate Whipped Buttercream and Chocolate shavings — inspired by the classic European dessert. Throughout the week, campers learn about presentation, packaging, and flavor pairing, with plenty of time for tasting and take-home treats. By the end, each camper will have a custom collection of confections and the proud title of Junior Chocolatier! Participants will be standing for most of the class, so please wear closed-toe shoes and ensure long hair is tied back. This is a drop-off program designed to foster independence in the kitchen. Missed classes are non-refundable—please review our Cancellation Policy. In each class, students work together in teams of two, fostering teamwork and camaraderie. As part of the experience, they'll make and enjoy some of the food they created during class. They'll also have the chance to take a portion of their creation home to share including the recipes, as the focus is on learning and practicing Culinary techniques.

Cancellation Policy

Due to our need to purchase food and supplies in advance, we are unable to provide refunds once a class is booked. You may receive a credit toward another class if notified a week prior to the date of your registered class. You are welcome to send someone in your place to attend the class that you've purchased. The Art of Food reserves the right to cancel a class. Registrants will be notified by email or phone as far in advance as possible and will issue a credit for upcoming classes. Please review class information carefully. We cannot be responsible for allergies, food or other sensitivities that may be unique to an individuals medical condition. Please note our kitchen is not a gluten-free environment and may contain nut products and other potential allergens. Sick Student Policy: Students should stay home if they or any family members are experiencing symptoms of illness, only returning to class once they’ve been well and symptom-free for at least 24 hours. This precaution supports a healthy environment for all students and staff.
